| Abstract: | Careful comparison of naturally derived and synthetic samples of the antheridium-inducing factor of Anemia phyllitidis, AA,,, by TLC, HPLC, NMR and GC-MS measurements allow unambiguous assignment of structure 2 to this substance, designated herein as antheridic acid. |
