Abstract: A chemo-, regio-, and stereoselective iron-catalyzed 1,4-hydroboration of dienes that affords γ-disubstituted allylboranes has been developed. 1,4-Hydroboration of 2-substituted dienes forms allylborane products with (E)-trisubstituted double bonds exclusively.
