Abstract
Presents an innovative proof-centered course in high-school geometry. Salient feature is the use of Book I of Euclid's Elements as a primary text. The first principal chapter of the paper lays out an extensive rationale for returning to direct study of Euclid in the modern classroom. The second principal chapter describes in detail the design implementation of a course centered on The Elements.
