A Wolf at the Door

Abstract

Clare, an artist with empty pockets, was recently rejected from a gallery show. She had a lot riding on this submission emotionally, since the painting she submitted helped her process the attempted assault she faced at the hands of her neighbor Helen’s boyfriend, Tyler. To make matters worse, Clare’s landlord, Lou, comes bearing the news that she is once again late on paying her rent. He offers an unusual solution that will challenge her both personally and artistically—and also infuriate his hot-headed wife. Ultimately, Clare must empower herself enough to overcome misdirected anger and accusations in this comedic stage play titled, "A Wolf at the Door."
