Rates of acquisition of pneumococcal colonization and transmission probabilities, by serotype, among newborn infants in kilifi district, kenya. Clinical Infectious Diseases: An Official Publication of the Infectious Diseases Society of America 55(2): 180-188.

By observing pneumococcal carriage in family members, we were able to determine serotype-specific transmission probabilities between relatives.
