Abstract: In developmental toxicity studies, multiple levels of correlation exist between multiple outcomes of interest, complicating the estimation of models and risk assessment for data collected from these studies. The first chapter describes these multiple layers of correlation, the problems that arise from them, and provides a detailed literature review of the statistical methodology developed in order to address these problems.
