Szczegielniak, Adam. 1995. "Certain Aspects of Cliticization in Polish." University of Pennsylvania Working Papers in Linguistics 2, no. 2: 143-157.Abstract
The main goal of this paper is to present an account of certain forms of cliticization in Polish. I will try to show that the fact that certain clitics undergo phonological processes typically assumed to be lexical does not exclude the possibility of them being generated in the syntax, hence this paper is also an attempt to provide a framework of the interaction between different modules of grammar. Clitics are a good ground since their behavior is distinct in different levels of grammar, especially syntax and phonology.Terms of Use
