Bornstein, Eric Rothman. 2020. Secure Messaging. Bachelor's thesis, Harvard College.Abstract
This work examines the cryptographic notion of secure two-party communication. It analyzes optimal confidentiality and authenticity in the setting of an insecure channel, insecure user states, and leaky randomness. It presents five constructions of messaging systems in the literature that range in security levels and efficiencies. It compares the schemes' overall advantages and disadvantages, including formally defining their levels of security.Terms of Use
