Abstract
Luo's paintings, poetry, and videos envision the possibility of forming compassionate and intimate interspecies relationships in our current climate. Reflecting on the idea of "being with" animals, Luo captures the beauty and suffering of the animals that soften the boundaries between humans and other species. Luo's work also invites the audience to be mindful of the impacts of their choices and actions on other beings and the environment in their daily life.
