Cross-occupational collaboration is difficult, as work and occupations scholars show, but can be overcome in a variety of ways. To better understand cross-occupational collaboration, I propose that researchers look at the process of collaboration: how actors build, sustain, and effectively use cross-occupational collaborations to affect their environments. Chapter 1 examines how actors build cross-occupational relationships, the stuff of collaboration opportunities. Chapter 2 is about how actors sustain collaborative projects. Chapter 3 is about the conditions in which collaborations might create more effective strategies.Terms of Use
