Master's thesis, Harvard University Division of Continuing Education.30422500https://nrs.harvard.edu/URN-3:HUL.INSTREPOS:37374902For the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) to have a truly zero-failure rate in a world that faces an increasing number of international public health emergencies and global pandemics, it must be restructured and properly funded. Failure to make these necessary changes threatens not only the health of the US public, but also its overall domestic and national security. Although the SNS failed to quickly and adequately respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, the SNS is still capable of being the successful lifesaving program it was designed to be. However, this requires the political will of both political parties as well as the executive and legislative branches working together to accomplish this. This thesis provides a roadmap to such success.application/pdfenMedical CountermeasuresPandemicsPublic Health Emergency PreparednessPublic PolicyStrategic National StockpileSupply Chain ManagementPublic healthPublic administrationHealth care managementShaping the Strategic National Stockpile in an Increasingly Global WorldThesis or Dissertation2023-04-240000-0002-3257-9585
