Burnout will be measured using the Maslach Burnout Inventory on three dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. Semi-structured interviews will be conducted to provide context for and clarification on special educators’ perceptions of burnout before and after the COVID-19 pandemic altered educational processes.
