I would love to have access to scientific articles so that I can be more knowledgeable about my subject and create a more nuanced discussion with the public, but usually this is off limits. I cannot afford to pay $30 for every article I would read! I am college educated, so I know how to read journal articles, but since I am no longer in college I have been cut off from accessing them. When I discovered that this was available to me I got very excited. I hope that this trend continues, so that science may enhance society as it was meant to, rather than gathering dust on digital shelves that benefit no one.
