April 2007, the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government hosted a multi-stakeholder workshop as part of a project entitled 'Corporations and Human Rights: Accountability Mechanisms for Resolving Complaints and Disputes'. The workshop brought together a broadly-ranged group of expert stakeholders to explore how one could enhance the effectiveness of complaints/dispute resolution mechanisms in the business and human rights arena. The objective was to gain a better understanding of participants' views on existing mechanisms, their merits and deficits, what optimal mechanisms might look like, and how could fit together within a wider accountability system.Corporations and Human Rights: Accountability Mechanisms for Resolving Complaints and DisputesTechnical Report
