Doctoral dissertation, Harvard University, Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.http://nrs.harvard.edu/urn-3:HUL.InstRepos:42029493Cross-occupational collaboration is difficult, as work and occupations scholars show, but can be overcome in a variety of ways. To better understand cross-occupational collaboration, I propose that researchers look at the process of collaboration: how actors build, sustain, and effectively use cross-occupational collaborations to affect their environments. Chapter 1 examines how actors build cross-occupational relationships, the stuff of collaboration opportunities. Chapter 2 is about how actors sustain collaborative projects. Chapter 3 is about the conditions in which collaborations might create more effective strategies.application/pdfenProfessionals, Cross-occupation, InnovationThe Process of Building, Sustaining, and Using Cross-Occupational CollaborationsThesis or Dissertation2019-12-12
