Abstract

This curriculum is intended for use within Episcopal parishes and campus chaplaincies that seek to explore the rich spiritual resources within the Episcopal and greater Christian tradition that deepen our understanding of and connection with the sacredness of the natural world. Our relationship to nature has never been more important than in this time of pandemic, when so many of us have found spiritual sustenance and insight in time alone and together outdoors. Further, growing evidence of climate change urges us to examine our religious commitments for guidance on transforming our engagement with the natural world into a generative one. This curriculum provides an opportunity to deepen our commitment to the care of Creation and explore its religious and spiritual dimensions.
