Panofsky, unexpected… : DASH Story 2021-10-11
I am a student from Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts (SAFA) majored in western art history. Currently, I'm working in the field of art historiography of early Netherlandish painting, and the study of this field by art historians of early 20th century. I found an article from DASH titled "Panofsky, unexpected" published in 2013. As a foreign student of art history without access to first-hand documents, this kind of personal confusion, perspective and discovery of a researcher who studied in the same field really excited and inspired me, as if a hand had reached out from the not-so-distant past to hold mine.
