Abstract
In this dissertation, I leverage common, rare, and somatic genetic variation to address important problems in hematopoietic biology, including the role of polygenic modifiers in variable expressivity of telomere biology disorders, the genetics and clonal dynamics of acute myeloid leukemia, and common and rare variant contributions to clonal hematopoiesis and its progression to malignancy.
