Abstract
This work delves into the history and patterns of modern American evangelicalism, drawing upon personal narrative and theological works from people of various spiritual traditions to understand an experience of being queer in a non-affirming Christitan evangelical contexts, and to reimagine the possibilities of surviving and thriving through those experiences. The work invites the reader to reimagine the possibilities of cultivating breathable, visible space in one’s context by way of ritual and cultivating a sense of wonder.
