Abstract

A two-part comparison of case studies comparing different colonial rulers is used to identify behaviors shared by a variety of colonial powers. This is compared with a selection of editorials and interviews that examine how Enron is framed in public discourse in India. The similarities in emotional content, themes, and motivations reveal a close connection between behaviors of colonial powers and multinational corporations in India.
