Abstract

A detailed description of the process by which microtiming data (in milliseconds) and sound energy data (in decibels) generated by LARA is transformed into musical notation, followed by a brief summary of the genesis of musical photorealism, its applications, and its links to cantus firmus techniques and photographic processes.
