Abstract

Foreign governments have been intervening in pre-electoral processes of other countries for a long time by overtly or covertly using economic and military muscles, but for the first time a major world power has made use of the cyberspace and digital media’s machine to effectively try to alter the outcome of the elections of another major world power.
