Abstract

In this report, we extend the earlier research on neuropsychological consequences of the Chernobyl disaster. We add findings from further focus groups conducted in Bila Tserkva, Ukraine, and extend the literature review to cover suicide, reproductive health, immune system and blood disorders, respiratory diseases, and cardiovascular diseases. These are outcomes that may be plausibly affected by the stress associated with the disaster and its aftermath.
