Lacerte, Quincy. 2024. The Walls of Winchester Abbey. Master's thesis, Harvard University Division of Continuing Education.

Abstract

After her mother’s death, Austin native Monroe Morales is moved to England to attend an all-girls, Catholic boarding school. In her late-night wanderings of the old castle, she finds her connection to ‘home’ in her midnight baking sessions. The vents in the kitchen provide entertainment with the nightly escapades of the teachers and nuns broadcasted. But the walls hold secrets far more dangerous than the staff indiscretions. One night Monroe overhears a plea for help from a familiar voice. Determined to find the source, Monroe gets pulled into the mystery of the missing girls of Winchester Abbey, the Fallen.
