I am a physical therapist treating patients with neuromusculoskeletal disorders. Amongst them headache. In order to treat my patients better and understand the mechanisms behind cervicogenic headache, I was looking for boundaries and similarities between migraine, tension type headache and cervicogenic headache. In the various articles the term trigeminovascular mechanism appeared again and again. By having access through DASH to articles explaining this mechanism, I now have a better understanding of the current state of the art in this area. As I am not university based I would not have had access otherwise to this source of knowledge. Thank you very much!
