Retired teacher, live in extreme rural region of Colorado, very limited funds, no access to much research through a professional association, life-long interest in (and bias toward) potential for humanity to view itself as 'universal family' and possibility to foster innate 'impulses' that support "we're a family" mindset. I 'plug away' at validating my ideas. I don't run into 'Open Access' provided information often but when I do I am absolutely fully grateful! In fact, Open Access to information dovetails nicely with a 'universal family' approach. My own childhood on a family farm saw skills and information widely shared— I believe the same is true of relatively pure hunting-gathering societies, suggesting and supporting idea we're 'hard-wired' to work in cooperation and to want others to thrive as well as ourselves.
