I'm doctoral student, and I am for open access for scientific papers, because it greatly contributes to the growth of popularity of a specific scientist and her research area. Moreover, it makes easy to do science, and as in today's world, there is somewhat less activity of youth in science (at least in Europe and America), it will help to attract younger generations for doing science rather some private business or anything else.
