I’m currently working on a research project for the BFI program (French International Baccalaureate) about how hip-hop has influenced K-Pop. I recently read Hyniea (Niea) Gardner’s thesis “The Impact of African-American Musicianship on South Korean Popular Music” and found it extremely relevant and inspiring.
