I currently work with women who have been oppressed by violence perpetrated by partners. I am a Clinical nurse consultant. In my education support role I have attempted to share education about the DMN - this entails basic brain education - and the habit of returning to memories [of] events that negatively reinforce their feelings of hopelessness [and] sense of no justice.
