I am a current Peace Corps Volunteer who plans to return to graduate school next Fall. Harvard's Open Access made it possible for me to stay abreast with current psychology research while not enrolled in a university (and therefore without access to a majority of journals). As a Volunteer, I have limited funds to purchase new articles, but with Open Access I was able to read older and newer articles while applying to graduate school and for fellowships.
