I have friends and family who believe that Muslims do not integrate well into western culture. This was demonstrated through discussions and, more recently, through a circulated email claiming that jihad is waged against all that are non-Muslims. The story in the email, as I discovered, was hoax with unsubstantiated claims about Muslims and jihad.
Through this article which has been made available to the public by Harvard, I was able to present the other side of the argument and dispel the ongoing myth that Muslims do not integrating well into western culture and also to point out that integration with western society depends on several variables given a particular individual or groups of individuals.
