Open access means that I can read and assimilate the most up-to-date information. As a student, purchasing papers and journals is expensive and unaffordable. Open access enables higher quality learning, producing better educated employees of the future. I would like to see all medical research papers published as open access to disseminate information as quickly as possible and ensure necessary changes are made for the benefit of all.
