As a first generation college student interested in pursuing further education around Contemporary Art this is so helpful as a sampling of what has been studied and written about. Furthermore, given my status as a first generation college student, I have no had guidelines or support or help on what it would mean to embark on a journey for a PhD. This access is a huge help in not only furthering my understanding on a particular subject but it also reveals to me in a direct way this is what a dissertation is what it looks like and what it will entail. Rather than an abstract concept in my mind I can look at the actual, real, tangible thing. Thank you.
