I am an Adjunct Professor (Chaplaincy and Psychology) at University of the West -- a small (Buddhist) university in Southern California. A group of faculty, monks and chaplaincy students have been teaching meditation in California State Prisons. Recently we have begun to discuss how to reach out to corrections officers, parole/probation officers and (even) police. Your article will be very valuable in that context.
