I teach at a small, poor, private high school in Japan, in the area devastated by the earthquake and tsunami six years ago; one of my responsibilities is coaching the English debate team. As others in the Japan section have noted, it is nearly impossible to have access to higher-level research in Japan without paying an exorbitant fee, which my school is not able or willing to do. In a previous life I was a tutor and researcher at a UK university and access to such information was no problem; however, now‚Äö your open access program is an extremely valuable resource.
