I am a child of international adoption. I was adopted to the U.S. from Chile during the Pinochet era. I have been looking for writings on international adoption online to understand more about human rights and adoption. For me, it is a complex issue and a deeply personal issue. It was very helpful to find this online resource: International Adoption, The Human Rights Position. Post-graduation, I do not have easy access to scholarly articles or peer reviewed literature.
