I have cancer, and gigantic medical bills, along with student debt from my uncompleted undergraduate degree. I enjoy research and want to be able to return to school quickly once my illness is done, but without access to journal publications that would be difficult. The current publishing model is broken, thanks for doing something to help change it, even if only in a small way.
